I have used HRD for many years...back when it was free.
HRD has come a long way since then.
Now I use HRD for every ICOM Radio that will interface with it that I have
The HRD Software allows me to use my icom 9700 for Satellite work and 2 meter / 70cm (all Modes) with Logging
In addition, I use my icom 756 PRO2 for all digital modes that HRD offers, in addition to running WSJT-X and Grid Tracker via HRD...It works flawlessly!
My icom 7610 works great as well with HRD for my HF work.
Finally, I am very pleased with the forward looking programming support and New features that have and will come out for 2023
especially the proposed Radio Face Interface, so it looks similar to the Radio // Improved Logging software and improved Satellite software frequency and mode updates for active Satellite access.
I wish my Icom 5100 Deluxe mobile and 51A Plus HT could also interface with HRD too. This would allow me to utilize the HRD Rig control and Logging software on these radios for Mobile Use into my Laptop

Great gift for friend or family. I have learned to use this software and find it very useful, keeping track of all my FT8 contacts! I would recommend this to anyone keeping a log and controlling their radio!

I have used HRD for many years. I think I started using it in about 1992. In those days it had lots of bugs. Since Mike bought it, that has all changed. HRD isn’t perfect but most software isn’t. Software is one of those things that is always in a state of change. HRD is very stable, and I have very few problems. When I do have an issue, Tech Support is quick to respond and fix it. (Most of the time the issue is me! ??) I am a recurring customer and I have auto-renewal setup. Paying my part for this great suite of applications is the least I can do to support Mike and his great team. I would hate to do Ham Radio without HRD!

I decided to buy a software key for a ham friend and i was offered a deal that if i took another year support package for myself along with the gift for a friend i would get a discount for both and wow what a discount i ended up getting the hrd for a friend for half the normal price " what a bargain" anyone could do this so go and get your software half price for a friend . You wont find a better piece of software anywhere for these prices ... thanks all in the hrd team ..ray

Super product, I have tried many logging programs none of them compare to HRD. I use HRD with my Kenwood TS-59SG and SDRPlay and the software runs flawlessly. Support for virtual ports makes the connection process extremely easy.

Something(s) in HRD for every ham. While I don’t use all of the features,  I know they are available and I can always use them as I need/want them.  HRD is the ultimate suite of ham applications. I particularly like that it’s well suited for Internet connectivity  particularly the QSLing  features.   One of my other.favorite features  is the capability of having multiple “add: my logbook”  screens available simultaneously.   HRD has made operating much more enjoyable as it saves time that can be reallocated to actual operating. The automatic eQSL feature is really great as is LoTW.  

I have used the free version of HRD for many years and loved it. I bought a Yaesu FT-891 which was not supported. I had procrastinated about buying it for so long, I felt I should finally get it. I am so glad I did. It works spectacularly as I knew it would. I still love it and since buying I have found out just how wonderful their support is. I had several questions and they were answered quickly and accurately in a friendly manner. I continue to be happy with this company and I am glad I finally got off my .---- and bought it.

If your willing to put in the time to learn how to use HRD you will find no better software out there. I use it for logging ,satellite tracking and rig control. The rig control is fantastic for both my Icom 9700 and Icom 7610. Looking forward to future updates. The only thing in my opinion that would be a big improvement would be a Linux version.

After testing HRD during the trial period, I was very satisfied with your product.
So I bought your product, and I use it almost every day.
The software works flawlessly with my ICOM IC-7900 and IC-7610, also the IC-705 works perfect.
In the beginning it was some struggling with the radio settings, but it was quickly sorted out due the many written information
on the Internet, and also the many YouTube video's from other HRD users.
I'm looking forward to the promised changes for the IC-9700, specially for the satellite work. 
The doppler shift is not always correct, and there is a doppler frequency change different than other SAT software, like SATPC32.
Also Logging SAT contacts is difficult, there is no way to log a Satellite  Qso, I log it via ARLL LOTW and than import it into HRD, but it's not stated as a Satellite QSO, but a normal QSO on 2 meter or 70 cm.
Would be nice if this changes in the future, and I can just log it in HRD, and then forward it to LOTW.

I am new to Ham Radio and bought this as others had recommended it.....I am so glad I did.
I am now logging all my contact on the software.
I found it easy to set up, easy to configure and easy to customise.
I had a few minor problems to start with and Tech Support were very helpful.
My only complaint (not that it affects me yet) is that you only get 1 years free technical support.

I requested assistance with the software and emailed the support line . They responded in a very quick manner and suggested that they can assist me via web . So they had a service Tech name Kevin set up time with me and connected to my computer and corrected all my issue's . If it wasn't for Kevin seeing all the errors I was getting it would of been a long process for me to explain each problem then get some assistance to get each issue resolved . The Customer Support dept. is very important and I'm glad that I spent the money on this software , it's great and the support is great .
